단계의 금강산시는 42수의 연작시로, 유배시와 유람시, 도학시의 복합적인 성격을 띠고 있다. 「금강음이십일절」은 명소마다 전하는 일화를 시에 인용하여 이 내용을 중심으로 시상을 전개하였으며, 주희의 「무이도가」에 차운한 「금강구곡시」에서는 공자와 안자가 전수한 ‘박약’의 지결을 생을 마칠 때까지 존숭하여 힘을 다하여 구하고, 가깝고 낮은 곳에서부터 멀고 높은 곳으로 나아가며 멈추지 않는다면 당연히 도달하는 곳이 있게 된다고 하였다. 「금강음이십일절」과 「금강구곡시」외 빼어난 경치에 대한 감상을 읊고 개인적인 서정을 가미한 시에서는 다양한 모습들이 조화를 이루어 완성된 결과물인 자연 속에서 부족하고 부질없으며, 세상에 버려진 존재라 생각했던 단계가 자신에 대한 부정적 인식을 극복하고 자연에 동화되어 온전히 몰입된 모습을 보여준다. 단계의 금강산시에서는 일화, 도학, 서정의 표출이라는 세 가지 방향에 부합한 공간으로 거듭나는 금강산의 새로운 면모와 해석을 확인할 수 있다. 특히 만폭동의 팔폭과 흐르는 물줄기에서 ‘求道의 원리’를 찾아 체계적으로 제시한 단계의 문학적 시선은 이전에는 없던 금강산이라는 공간을 해석하는 새로운 시각을 제시하고 있다.
Abstract
Kim In-seop's Geumgangsan-si is a series of 42 poems, and has a complex characteristics of exile, pleasure, and Taoism. 「Geumgangum 21」 quoted anecdotes from each attraction and developed an award centered on this content. 「Geumgang Gugoksi」 in the form of borrowing In Juhee's 「The Song of Wuyi」 where Confucius(공자) and Anja(안회) were transferred, there was a place to reach if they did not stop from close to low. 「Geumgangum 21」 and 「Geumgang Gugok Poetry」 that recited appreciation of the outstanding scenery and added personal sentiment, various images harmonized to overcome negative perceptions of themselves and become immersed in nature. In Kim In-seop's Geumgangsan Poetry, you can see the new aspect and interpretation of Geumgangsan Mountain, which is reborn as a space consistent with the three directions of anecdotes, Taoism, and the expression of lyricism. In particular, the literary gaze at the stage of finding and systematically presenting the "principle of the path" in the eight widths and flowing streams of Manpok-dong suggests a new perspective that interprets the space of Geumgangsan Mountain, which has not existed before.
