정보기술은 기업 경영자원 및 조직운영에 핵심적인 요소로 인정받고 있으며 효율적인 비즈니스 프로세스 설계를 위해 정보기술의 적극적 활용이 요구되어 왔다. 그러나 지금까지의 정보기술은 물리공간의 연계라는 측면에서 보면 여전히 불완전한 비즈니스 시스템을 입력, 처리, 출력의 구조적 관점에서 기존 IT가 시스템의 구성요소 중 처리에 중점하여 발전해 온 것에 반해, 유비쿼터스 IT는 현재 많은 제약요인을 가지고 있는 입력과 출력의 고도화를 통해 비즈니스프로세스 혁신의 구현 가능함을 제시하였다. 이러한 측면에서 유비쿼터스 IT의 진화동향을 단말, 네트워크, 플랫폼, 정보의 관점에서 살펴보고, 비즈니스 프로세스 혁신 적용방안을 솔루션 중심으로 제시하였다. 마지막으로 유비쿼터스 IT 솔루션의 도입을 위한 IT 가치시스템의 전개방향과 고려사항을 도출하고자 하였다.
Abstract
This paper proposes business process innovation through ubiquitous computing from a systems perspectiveconsisting of input, process, and output. The authors provide a brief overview on the development of upcoming information technology, focusing on devices, networks, platforms and information. Some solutions using ubiquitous computing are introduced for business process innovation. Social and technical issues are also suggested to adopt ubiquitous computing into innovating business processes.
