RFID/USN은 정보통신부 IT839 전략에 포함도는 핵심기반 기술인 동시에 신규 서비스로서 다양한 응용서비스 시범사업과 관련요소기술 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 더불어 정보보호 대책 수립 및 법제도 기반 조성, 기술표준화가 진행 중에 있으며, 산업기반 조성을 위한 종합시험설비센터 구축 및 국제협력을 통한 해외 연구소 유치 등 다각도로 RFID/USN 수요확산 및 산업활성화를 위한 정책을 펼쳐나가고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RFID/USN의 동향 및 정책방향에 대해서 살펴보고 향 후 응용서비스 진화 방향에 대해 고찰해 본다. 또한 타 IT 신기술 서비스와의 융합을 통해서 시너지 효과를 창출할 수 있는 비즈니스 모델 개발 방안에 대해서도 모색해 본다.
Abstract
RFID/USN, infrastructure technology as well as a new innovative IT service, included in IT839 Strategy introduced by MIC(Ministry of Information and Communication) has actively applied to the pilot project and developed elements technologies. Also regulation improvement in information protection relating to RFID/USN and technologies standardization has been ongoing. Moreover RFID/USN policies for industry stimulation and demand proliferation have been implemented diversely. These policies include a construction plan of total test facilities and activities to attract global R&D centers and intensify global cooperation system. This paper provides a comprehensive review of RFID/USN Policy in Korea and suggests the evolution direction of further advanced RFID/USN application services. In addition, we seek measures for development of new business model through convergence between other new IT technologies and RFID/USN.
