비즈니스 거버넌스란 "기업이 비즈니스를 수행함에 따라 요구되는 구조적이고 포괄적인 관계"를 의미한다. 본 연구는 디지털 융합이 비즈니스 거버넌스에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 급변하는 환경에서의 비즈니스 거버넌스 진화 모델을 모색한다. 비즈니스 거버넌스의 구성요소를 파악하고 구성요소 간 관계를 분석하는 모델이 제시되었으며, 국내 모바일 뱅킹 산업을 대상으로 탐색적 사례 연구를 수행하여 모델의 적용가능성을 검토하였다. 연구 결과 초기에 서로 다른 형태였던 비즈니스 거버넌스가 디지털 융합이 진행됨에 따라 점차 수평적 구조로 유사해짐을 알 수 있었다.
Abstract
Business governance means "the relationships of economic and social control mechanisms for coordinating and safeguarding the business partners." As digital convergence progresses, the firms seek to build new business governance structures so as to collaborate effectively with new partner companies. This paper analyses the impact of digital convergence on the business governance and explores an evolution model of business governance. The model is constructed by identifying first the determinants of business governance and then analyzing their relationships. In order to demonstrate the applicability of the model, a case study is performed focusing on the Korean mobile banking industry. From this case study, it is found that initially different business governance structures among different collaborating companies tend to converge toward a common horizontal governance structure too.
