지식서비스는 고학력자들이 선호하는 일자리를 창출하고 고부가가치를 생성하여 한국의 서비스 산업이 안고 있는여러 문제도 상당히 해소시켜 한국 경제의 발전에 큰 기여를 할 것으로 여겨진다. 그런데 지식서비스업에 종사하거나지식서비스 업무를 수행하려면 지식서비스 분야의 전문 지식은 물론 소통력과 서비스 정신을 포함하는 사회적 역량,정보통신 기술을 활용하고 다루는 정보화 역량을 갖추어야 한다. 결국 이러한 역량과 지식을 갖춘 인재를 배출하는 것이 매우 중요하므로 지식서비스인의 역량과 지식 요건에 대해 검토하였다. 이미 세계적으로 450여개의 대학에서 지식서비스 관련 과목을 개설하거나 학위 과정을 설치하여 운영하고 있다. 한국에서도 4개 대학의 대학원 수준에서 설치되어 운영되고 있었고 아직 학부 수준에서 설치된 대학을 발견하지 못하였다. 인터넷에 교육과정을 공개한 대학들의자료를 수집한 후에 국내 대표적인 2개 대학의 교육과정을 정리하고 교육과정의 구조를 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study reviews the concept of knowledge service and summarizes competency and knowledge requirements for those who want to work in the field of knowledge service. Then, this study surveys the curricula on knowledge service around the world and compares two representative curricula in Korea. Finally,this study suggests that knowledge service professionals should acquire knowledge on knowledge service management or knowledge service engineering in addition to social competency, e-competency, and integration competency.
