최신 첨단 기능을 내장한 스마트폰이 널리 보급됨에 따라 누구나 쉽게 무선망에 접속할 수 있게 되었고, 고품질의 멀티미디어 데이터를 전송할 수 있는 다양한 융합망도 함께 등장하였다. 그러나 스마트폰 시장의 성장에 따른 역기능으로 스마트폰을 대상으로 하는 다양한 위협도 함께 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그 중 무선망 환경을 기반으로 확산되는 모바일 웜은 중요정보 접근, 개인 콘텐츠 유출, 통신망 마비 등을 일으킬 수 있는 심각한 위협으로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문은 이종 무선망 환경에서 스마트폰 기반의 모바일 웜 확산에 적용 가능한 확산 모델을 제안하고, 다양한 실험을 통하여 모바일 웜 확산을 시뮬레이션한 후 이종 무선망의 특성을 고려하여 분석한다.
Abstract
Everyone easily can connect wireless networks and share high-quality multimedia data over convergence networks since smartphones with new high technologies are popularized drastically. But we encounter various mobile threats as side effects against the growth of smartphone technologies and its markets. Malicious codes such as mobile worms may access sensitive information or disclose personal multimedia contents on smartphones, and can bring about denials of wireless services. In this paper, we describe the existed worm spreading models and try to examine the spread of smartphone mobile worms. We also simulate the propagation for mobile worms by experiments for various network environments and analyze their spreading effects on heterogeneous mobile networks.
