본 논문에서는 컴퓨팅 환경이 PC중심에서 모바일 중심으로 변화함에 따라 모바일 서비스 플랫폼 구축시 필수적으로 고려해야 할 다섯 가지 기술 사항을 분석 및 도출 하였다. 이는 N 스크린 대응, Fat 클라이언트화, 네이티브 어플리케이션 기반 서비스 접점, 모바일 웹의 발전, 상시 연결성으로 요약된다. 또한 이러한 다섯 가지 기술 사항을 성공적으로 활용하고 있는 기업들의(페이스북, 넷플릭스, 에버노트, 링크드인) 서비스 플랫폼 구축 사례를 상세하게 설명한다. 마지막으로 서비스 플랫폼의 변화가 앞으로 어떻게 진행되어 나갈지도 전망하도록 하겠다.
Abstract
During the transition from PC-oriented to mobile-oriented computing environment, we have identified the five key technology factors that should be taken into account for building competitive mobile service platforms. The factors include N screen support, a fat client, a native application based service delivery, HTML5 based mobile Web, and always connected. In addition, the architectural characteristics of the mobile service platforms which have been built successfully by the four IT companies (Facebook, Netflix, Evernote, Linkedin) will be illustrated in detail with the emphasis on how the factors are capitalized upon by the companies. Finally, we will share our prediction how mobile service platforms will evolve continuously.
