저소득 가정 청소년의 부적응에 가족환경이 미치는 영향과 일상생활 스트레스의 매개효과

초록

본 연구는 가족환경이 저소득 청소년의 부적응에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 그 과정에서 일상생활 스트레스가 어떠한 역할을 하는지 파악하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 즉, 가족환경이 청소년의 부적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치는지, 일상 생활스트레스를 매개로 부적응에 간접적인 영향을 주는지에 대하여 검증하였다. 전국 청소년자활지원관 20개소를 대상으로 우편설문을 통한 전수조사를 실시하였고, 그 결과 305부의 설문지가 수거되어 총 80%의 회수율을 나타냈다. 연구결과는 첫째, 저소득 청소년의 부적응에 있어선 내재화문제가 외현화문제 보다 다소 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 저소득 가정 청소년은 일상생활 스트레스 하위영역에서 스트레스를 많이 받는 순위는 학업영역, 부모영역, 주변환경 영역 순서로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족환경이 저소득 가정 청소년의 부적응에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 일상생활 스트레스요인이 매개요인으로 검증되었다. 즉, 가족환경 요인은 직접적으로는 청소년의 부적응에 영향을 미치지 않고 일상생활 스트레스에 부정적인 영향을 주고, 일상생활 스트레스는 청소년의 부적응을 야기하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 저소득 가정 청소년의 부적응에 있어서 가족환경 요인은 일상생활 스트레스를 통해서 부정적인 영향을 주고, 일상생활 스트레스는 가족환경이 청소년의 부적응에 영향을 미치는 데에 있어서 완전매개역할을 하는 것으로 입증되었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 저소득 청소년의 적응 향상을 위한 실천적 함의들이 논의되었다.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of family environment on poor adolescent's maladjustment and whether daily hassels mediate in the process. We collected data through mail questionnaire. We sent questionnaire to 20 self-sufficiency supporting centers throughout the country, which offered services to the adolescents of low-income groups. We received 305 answer sheets and the withdrawal rate amounts to 80%. Frequency analysis was done to assess the actual condition of poor adolescent and structural equation modeling was used to examine the effects of family environment on poor adolescent's maladjustment and the mediating role of daily hassels in the process. The results of this study are as follows: First, poor adolescent's family environment have not influence on maladjustment including internalized and externalized. Second, it was proved that daily hassels exerted as mediating variables. That is, poor adolescent's family environment appeared to effect their maladjustment indirect their daily hassels. Possible reasons for this result were identified and discussed.
