본 연구는 중학생들을 대상으로 부모참여 진로집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고 실시하여 진로성숙도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 하는 데 있다. 이와 같은 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 부모참여 진로집단상담 프로그램은 어떻게 구안되어야 할 것인가. 둘째, 부모참여 진로집단상담 프로그램은 중학생의 진로성숙도 향상에 효과가 있는가를 밝히는 것이다. 연구대상은 서울특별시 강북구에 소재하는 ‘B' 중학교 2․3학년 학생들 중 부모가 함께 참여 가능한 희망 학생들을 대상으로 실험집단 15명과 통제집단 15명으로 구성하였다. 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 부모참여 진로집단 상담프로그램은 박인우(1995)의 상담프로그램 개발 모형을 바탕으로 구안되었으며, 검사도구로는 Crites가 제작한 CMI(Career Maturity Inventory)를 한국행동과학연구소에서 번역한 것(1984)으로 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS/Window 12.0에서 혼합변량분석 및 대응표본 t검증을 사용하여 통계적 결과를 분석하였다. 또한 매 회기별 부모설문을 통해 부모가 지각하는 자녀의 진로인식 변화에 관한 점수를 학생별로 누가 기록한 후 그 변화추세를 살펴보았고, 상담자의 관찰내용과 집단원의 경험보고서, 그리고 프로그램에 대한 평가 소감문을 분석하여 통계적 검증에 따른 연구 결과를 보완하였다. 연구결과 부모참여 진로집단상담 프로그램을 처치한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비하여 통계적으로 진로성숙도 변화에 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났고 내용 분석 결과에서도 실험참가자들이 프로그램의 효과에 대하여 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때, 부모참여 진로집단상담 프로그램이 중학생의 진로성숙도를 향상시키는데 효과가 있다고 볼 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a program utilizing parents' participation in career group counseling for middle school students and assess and validate its effect on their career maturity. Main objectives are as follows : Developing an effective way to construct the program for parents and children to participate in career group counseling : Validating its effect of the career maturity. The subjects of this study were 30 sophomore, junior students attending 'B' middle school in Seoul. For this research, thirty students who wanted to participate the career exploration group counselling program were divided into two groups ; 15 students with their parents in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group. This program is based on Consultation Program Development Model by Park In-u(1995). In terms of study procedure, we conducted the program to experimental group after class twice a week(60-90 minutes per session) which total to twelve sessions and took no measure to control group. It was administered three times, pre, post and follow test by CMI(Career Maturity Inventory) and were analyzed by 'Mixed ANOVA', 'Paired t-test' from SPSS/Window 12.0. Also the analysis of experience reports by session and counselor observation contents was indicated to supplement the limitations in the reliability of quantitative data. Results indicated significant differences between the experimental and control groups. Content analyses further reveled that participants in the Program with parents demonstrated positive reactions towards the effectiveness of the intervention. Overall a positive effect was found in those who participated in the parents' participating career group counseling Program, supporting the hypothesis that the program may be beneficial for improving career maturity in middle school students.
