본 논문에서는 2세대 이동통신에서부터 발전하여 온 이동통신시스템의 주요 기술에 대해 살펴보고, 현재 활발히 논의 중인 제 5세대 이동통신 시스템의 비젼과 요구 사항을 살펴보고, 이를 위하여 현재 논의되고 있는 기술들을 언급하고, 국제 표준화 일정을 소개하였다.

Abstract

In this brief summary, we have provided how westarted to be a major player in wireless communicationsfrom the 2nd generation mobile communication systemsto LTE-Adv. We also provided the vision, requirementsand standardization schedule for 5G under discussionsin ITU-R and 5G Forum in Korea along with enablingtechnologies.
