이 논문은 프랑스 중고대학생들의 진로선택 현황을 분석하여 우리나라의 학생진로지도 정책방안 수립에 시사점을 찾아보고자 하는데 있다. 프랑스 진로지도 현황분석 결과, 직업계 진출 우호적 진로체제 운영, 학부모가 참여하는 학급위원회에서 협의를 통한 진로결정방식 운영, 직업자격과 취업 및 직무의 연계 강화, 절대평가방식의 바깔로레아 제도 운영, 엄격한 학사관리제도 운영 등이 주요 특징으로 나타났다. 프랑스 기업체에 능력중시의 고용인사관행이 정착되어 학생들은 단순한 학력추구보다는 취업에 필요한 자격취득을 중시하고 대학들은 학생선발보다는 엄격한 학사관리에 보다 많은 중점을 두고 교육의 질관리에 중심을 두어 고교단계에서의 과도한 입시경쟁을 완화하는데 기여하고 있다. 이것이 적성 등을 고려하여 진로를 선택하도록 유도하는데도 기여하고 있다.
Abstract
This thesis aims figuring out the policy implication to develop the students' career guidance by looking into the case of students' orientation in France. Regarding the career guidance in schooling, the particular characteristics of French educational system are as follows; Vocational oriented career path system, Career guidance by the Class Council in cooperation with the parents and experts, Baccalauréat system, Strong linkage between educational programme, vocation qualification and work or job analysis, High quality control on student performance, and so on. Particularly, the industries highly tends to employe the labour forces based on the qualification rather than the schooling itself. Those are the factors which contribute to alleviating the tough competition for university. Therefore, most of students tend to acquire the professional qualification rather than to pursuit the higher schooling itself. Vis-a-vis, the tertiary education institutes pursue how to train and to prepare the students for the industrial needs than how to select the students. Along with this culture, French people prefer how to improve their ability and talents in terms of qualification, not just the schooling itself.
