본 논문에서는 재난 통신망 기술의 표준화 현황 및 앞으로의 발전 방향을 소개한다. 제I장에서는 재난 통신 기술에대한 개요와 변화하는 재난 통신 기술의 요구 사항을 소개한다. 제II장에서는 국내외 재난 통신망 기술의 동향을 살펴본다. 특히 주요 재난 통신망 기술로써 Terrestrial Trunked Radio(TETRA)와 Association of Public SafetyCommunications Officials - Project 25(APCO-P25)에 대해서 다룬다. 제III장에서는 재난 통신망의 변화하는 요구사항에 따라 LTE를 활용한 재난 통신 기술의 표준화 현황 및 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 서술하며 제IV장에서는 본 논문의 결론을 맺는다.
Abstract
This paper provides a survey of the standardization activities and challenges in public protection and disasterrelief (PPDR) communications. Section I introduces an overview and the evolving requirements of PPDRcommunications. In section II, the status of communication systems for the PPDR such as Terrestrial TrunkedRadio (TETRA) and Association of Public Safety Communications Officials - Project 25 (APCO-P25) arestated. Section III discusses the research activities to address the technical challenges based on Long TermEvolution (LTE), and section IV concludes the paper.
