Abstract
Color is promptly recognized through sen- se. The response to color is expressed psy- chologically and mentally and the response is an adaptive property caused by environ- mental assistance rather than favorite selec- tion of human. Although environmental affordance causes proper potential power in various situations for the person with standard adaptive abili- ty, it works as an absolute essential condi- tion to decrease environmental press for the senior, who are hard to maintain proper adaptive level because of aging. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to begin by defining color as an affordance for ecological recognition, clarify the relationsh- ip between color and environmental afforda- nce from the viewpoint of environmental af- fordance through quantitative color system and suggest the color standard, which can be an instruction for the senior in environ- mental color plan.
