언어 의미체계를 기반으로 한 공간인지 분석방법에 관한 연구

공간인지 분석연구는 인간이 삶을 영위해 나가는 장소로서의 도시, 건축 내·외부에 대한 공간인지의 틀을 이해, 제시하고자 끊임없이 계속되어져 왔다. 이 연구의 목적은 상호간의 명확한 의미 전달 및 교감하기 위한 언어로서 공간인지 요소, 공간의 의미 위계 파악 및 우선순위가 있음을 증명하는 것이다. 그래서 도시, 건축, 인테리어의 공간 환경에서 나타나는 점·선·면의 주요 특성과 공간의 의미 위계를 강화시킬 수 있는 '공간의 형태적 변이 요소'와 '공간의 시간적 흐름(이동) 요소'로 나뉘어 분석 틀의 기준을 설정하였다. 본 연구 결과는 공간인지의 우선순위는 점적인 요소에서는 주목성>유도성, 선적인 요소에서는 이동성>방향성>연속성, 면적인 요소에서는 영역성>분절성>개방성으로 나타난다. 언어요소로서 우선순위를 살펴보면 ‘공간의 형태적 변이요소’는 대조>모호>투명>환영 순으로 나타났고, ‘공간의 시간적 흐름(이동)요소’는 리듬>움직임>멜로디>수직 순으로 많이 활용되고 있다.
Abstract
The analytic research on the spatial recognition has been carried out in order to understand the framework of human living patterns in cities, and buildings. This study aims at the configuration of the metaphorical relationships between languages and spaces. Thus the characteristics of fundamental geometries like points, lines and faces are identified to articulate hierarchical meanings of morphological and temporal elements. By the results of the research attention is proceded by attraction, continuity by segmentation, contrast by ambiguity, transparency by illusion, and movement by rhythm.
