Abstract
(Background and Purpose) As population aging continues rapidly around the world, the issue of aging is becoming a serious social issue. According to the National Statistical Office, as of 2023, the elderly population aged 65 or older is 9.5 million, or 18.4% of Korea's total population. In the future, the proportion of the elderly population will continue to increase, reaching 20.6% in 2025, entering a super-aged society, it is expected to increase by 40% in 2050. And while Korea's total population peaked at 51.84 million in 2019 and is gradually declining due to low birth rates, the total registered disabled population increased from 2.62 million in 2019 to 2022 the number is 2.65 million and is continuously increasing. In particular, the increasing trend in the proportion of registered disabled people aged 65 or older is noticeable and continues to increase from 53.9% in 2023, exceeding the majority of the total number of registered disabled people. Therefore, as the population of the elderly and the disabled increases, the need for buildings that are easy to move and accessible for all users is becoming more important. This study analyzes the contents of the review opinions in the BF certification process for buildings that have obtained BF certification, derives the status and problems of the opinions, and suggests improvement measures. (Method) First, collect BF certification review opinions, and second, classify the contents according to the detailed items of building BF certification evaluation index items such as intermediate facilities, internal facilities, sanitary facilities, information facilities, and other facilities, and then derive key terms through text mining techniques for performing quantitative analysis. Third, we will conduct a qualitative analysis by comparing the results of the text mining technique and the content of the review opinion. Finally, we will propose improvement measures for the content status and problems of the review opinion of BF certification. (Results) In this study, the result of term frequency count was derived from the review opinion for each evaluation item among the BF certification evaluation indicators using the text mining technique. Two of the seven evaluation items had insufficient data, so the term frequencies for the five evaluation items - intermediate facilities, internal facilities, sanitary facilities, guidance facilities, and other facilities - were identified, and important items for each facility were identified. (Conclusions) This study is a directional study to improve the evaluation of BF certification and is expected to be used as basic data for improving BF certification in the future. The high frequency of terms means that they are frequently mentioned in the review opinion and are an important consideration during deliberation. Therefore, it is believed that designers can use it as reference material for BF certification.
