(연구배경 및 목적) 2022년 고령화 사회에 진입한 중국은 고령자 인구가 증가와 함께 실버타운 수요도 증가하고 있으며 도시화 가족 구조 및 가족 관계를 변화시키고 있다. 본 연구는 중국 실버타운 공간의 특성과 고령자들의 공간에 대한 요구를 바탕으로 중국 실버타운 공간의 현황과 특성을 파악하고, 공간 사용률을 분석하여 고령자들의 요구사항을 다양하게 충족시킬 수 있는 공간에 대한 개선 방향을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 한다. (연구방법) 연구 범위는 중국에서 고령자 인구 비율이 증가하고 있는 랴오닝성 푸순시의 T, XY, F, X 네 곳을 선정하여 실버타운 고령자의 공간 이용에 관한 행태조사를 한다. 첫째, 중국 랴오닝성 내 실버타운의 현황을 파악한다. 둘째, 실버타운에서 공간별 고령자의 행태와 현황을 파악한다. 셋째, 실버타운 공간에서 고령자들에 행동을 추적하여 기록한 후, 이를 통해 고령자의 행동 및 공간의 관계를 파악하고, 실제 고령자들의 각 공간 사용현황을 종합 비교 분석하여 특성과 공간 사용률을 분석한다. (결과) 실버타운 공간에 관한 선행연구를 통해 도출한 실버타운 공간의 특성은 편리성, 쾌적성, 상호작용성, 접근성, 다양성의 5가지 특성을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 공간 특성에 관한 분석에서는 4개의 사례 중 X실버타운의 점수가 제일 높았고, T실버운과 F실버타운은 가장 점수가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 이 특성을 바탕으로 공간사용률을 분석한 결과, XY실버타운의 전체 공간 활용도 종합점수가 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 4개 사례의 공간들 중 로비 공간의 사용률이 가장 낮았고, 침실과 식당의 사용률이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. (결론) 사회 급속한 발전과 함께 중국의 실버타운 수요도 빠르게 증가하고 있지만, 대부분의 실버타운은 내부 시설과 환경이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구를 통해 실버타운의 공간의 특성 그리고 공간별 사용률이 높은 공간과 낮은 공간에 대해 파악할 수 있었으며, 증가하는 실버타운 수요에 발맞춰 공간디자인이 나아갈 방향에 대한 시사점을 제시하고자 한다.
Abstract
(Background and Purpose) With rapid societal development, China has become an aging society. As the older adult population increases, the demand for silver towns also increases, while urbanization continues to reshape family structures and relationships. This study aims to understand the current status and characteristics of Chinese silver town spaces based on their characteristics and the demands of older adults for the space, analyze space usage rates, and propose improvements to better meet older adults’ various needs. (Method) The study focuses on silver towns, four T, XY, F, and X, in Fushun City, Liaoning Province, where the proportion of the older adult population is increasing. to conduct a behavioral survey on the space use of the elderly in silver towns. First, the study identifies the current status of silver towns in Liaoning Province, China. Second, it examines the behavior and status of older adults within these spaces. Third, after tracking and recording the behavior of older adults across different spaces within silver towns, the study analyzes the relationship between behavior and space of older adults. Simultaneously, it also analyzes the characteristics and space usage rate by comprehensively comparing and analyzing the actual usage status of each space of older adults. (Results) Prior research revealed five key characteristics of silver town spaces: convenience, comfort, interactivity, accessibility, and diversity. In the spatial characteristics analysis, X-Silver Town scored the highest among the four cases, whereas T-Silver Town and F-Silver Town scored the lowest. In addition, by analyzing the space usage rate based on this characteristic, XY Silver Town showed the highest overall score for total space utilization. Among the four spaces, the lobby space was the lowest, and the bedroom and restaurant were the highest.(Conclusion) Along with the rapid development of society, the demand for silver towns in China is also increasing rapidly. However, most silver towns lack adequate internal facilities and environments. This study identified spatial characteristics of silver towns and spaces with high and low usage rates by space providing insights for optimizing spatial design in line with the increasing demand for silver towns.
