Abstract

Mostly Korean vocabulary used Chinese character. The more advanced language such as terminology use, the more frequency Chinese character use. Also it will be true that Chinese character is very high percentage of Korean vocabulary when considering using Chinese character. High percentage of using Chinese character of Korean language means that it would be a cause to be familiar to Chinese learner who uses Korean at the first time compared to other languages. The similarity between Chinese character of Korean language and Chinese language in morphology, semantics and phoneme will give much help when Chinese people learn Korean language. This paper was devised on similarities between Korean vocabulary and Chinese vocabulary in form, sound, and meaning and studied vocabulary education methods which enable Korean vocabulary to learn faster and exactly by Chinese learner in the Korean language beginner level when they learn Korean vocabulary with recognizing similarities above. Compared to other languages, Chinese vocabulary has many similar characteristics with Korean vocabulary. Eventually there are considerable huge impacts on learning Korean vocabulary of Chinese learners in the Korean language beginner level if Chinese learners in the Korean language beginner level use a variety of vocabulary developing strategies which is attributed to such similarities.
