Abstract
Won, Hae-Young. 2009. Study of Task Activities in Korean Education. Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language, 34, 257~282. This study aims to clarify the kinds of Task and Task Activities which are used in Korean education practically. Task helps to increase learner's interest in the target language and to achieve the goal. In addition, it makes the classroom active through the interaction between learners. It needs to develop more various and suitable task activities for learners in Korean education. This work defined the meaning of Task and Task Activity, and analyzed the 4 Korean textbooks to classify them. According to the result of the analysis, some specific task and task activities have been used too much in every textbook and learner's level. (Pusan National University)
