Abstract

This paper attempts to read Choi Seungja’s poetry from the viewpoint of the text of reappearance which realistically exposes the real conditions of women. This attempt is aimed at overcoming the existing debate on women’s poetry in two dimensions. First, the existing literature on women’s literature focuses on the author’s gender, discussing the politics of text (in the limited sense of resistance of middle-class women under patriarchy), It is an attempt to overcome the fact that the politics of female literature is not connected to the realistic context by overcoming the discourse of femininity by paying attention to the sex of the text. Second, it is an attempt to overcome the understanding that Choi Seung-ja’s poetry as a poetry of the existing poetry is limited to woman = maternity 'or to overcome the' woman =motherhood 'as a kind of methodology that eventually reveals misery. Instead Choi's poems are read as texts that recreate the discourse of unhappiness in women’s generalities, unhappiness in a certain age, or otherness, the existence and survival of women are reproduced from the perspective of the life of a single woman who maintains a livelihood through writing It needs to be read as text.
