Abstract
The classical yoga system focusing on <Yogasutra> is mentioning the details of the principle of pariṇāma, while proactively accepting the dualism of Samkhya. The recognition target of 5 mahābhūta and 5 skandha; recognition tool of 5 buddhi-Indriya, 5 karma-Indriya and manas; recognition principal of puruṣa and prakṛti including buddhi and ahaṃkāra; and each principle that creates the pariṇāma-vāda are the concept that makes up the philosophical system. However, the classical yoga system, which is advocating the theory of discipline, considers even those philosophical concepts as a target of concentrative meditation. However, since the targets composed of the concepts like the principle of the pariṇāma are too fine and minute to become the target of sense, some transformation process is additionally required in the form of a concept itself to consider the target as a target of concentration. This study starts with finding the literary grounds of the possibilities of diagraming the principles of pariṇāma focusing on the <Yogasutra> by considering the characteristics of such principles of pariṇāma. It aimed to find the specific diagramming methods based on the grounds and identify how the principles of pariṇāma can become the target of concentrative meditation by deliberating the examples of applying to the practical training.
