결혼이주여성의 문화적응 스트레스 척도 개발에 관한 연구

초록

본 연구의 목적은 한국 결혼이주여성들의 문화적응 스트레스를 측정하기 위한 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 32명의 결혼이주여성들을 대상으로 실시한 4개의 포커스그룹과 선행 연구를 통해 개발된 핵심 주제를 바탕으로 총 45개의 예비문항이 개발되었다. 일대일 면접설문지를 통해 수집된 표본 572부를 무선 분할하여 개발 표본 300부와 타당화 표본 272부에 대한 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하여 최종적으로 24문항으로 구성된 한국 결혼이주여성의 문화적응 스트레스 척도를 개발하였다. 이 척도는 가족관계, 차별, 언어사회적 장벽, 사회문화적 소외, 정체성, 심리적 고통 등 6개 요인으로 구성되어 있으며, 가족관계는 친정 가족에 대한 죄책감과 시댁갈등의 하위요인으로 구분되며, 언어사회적 장벽 요인은 언어장벽과 사회적 기회 제한 요인으로 구분되며, 사회문화적 소외 요인은 문화소외와 소속감 요인으로 구분된다. 개발된 척도의 Cronbach's α 값이 .928으로 높은 내적 일치도를 보였으며, 최종 모형의 적합도지수 TLI가 .890, CFI가 .908 그리고 RMSEA가 .069로 만족할 만한 수준의 타당도를 나타내었다. 또한 우울척도(CES-D) 및 MASS 척도와 상관분석을 통해 준거타당도를 확인하였으며, 개발표본과 타당화표본에 대한 구조방정식 다집단 분석을 통해 교차타당도를 확인하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop the scale on acculturative stress for marriage-based immigrant women in Korea. In first phase of the study, 45 pilot items were collected from 4 focus group interviews with a purposive sample group of 32 people. To analyze the factor structure and to verify the validity of the scale, 572 questionnaires collected from survey were divided randomly into 300 developmental samples and 272 validity samples. These analysis supported six factor structure of the acculturative stress scale consisted of 24 items. Six factors are as follows: 'family relatioship', 'discrimination', 'linguistic and social barrier’, ‘sociocultural alienation', 'identity', 'psychological distress'. 'Family relatioship' factor is divided as ‘sense of guilty’, ‘conflict her husband’s family’, 'linguistic and social barrier’ factor is divided as ‘linguistic barrier’, ‘restriction on social opportunity’. and ‘sociocultural alienation’ factor is divided as ‘alienation in cultural’, ‘sense of belonging’. The Cronbach's alpha estimate of the scale was .928. This scale of six factor model exhibited good(acceptable) fit, assessed by overall fit measure criteria(TLI=.890, CFI=.908, RMSEA=.069). Also, this scale was significantly related to the two relative scales(CED-S, MASS). These results proved the validity of the scale.
