가족생활주기에 따른 가족체계의 해체와 재결합 과정에 대한 연구 -이혼과 재결합을 경험한 부부의 가족치료 사례를 중심으로-

초록

본 연구에서는 가족생활주기에서 나타난 가족체계의 해체와 재결합 과정을 탐색하였다. 본 연구에서는 질적연구 방법 중 사례연구 방법을 사용하였으며, 자료분석을 위하여 주제분석 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이혼 전 단계에서는 불안정한 부부체계의 형성, 부부체계의 갈등 발현, 자녀의 부적응 발현, 가족체계의 갈등 증폭, 가족체계의 갈등폭발과정이 나타났다. 둘째, 이혼 단계에서는 합의되지 않은 별거와 소송이혼으로 인한 부부체계의 해체과정이 나타났다. 셋째, 이혼 후 가족 단계에서는 독립을 향한 노력, 불안의 증폭으로 인한 자녀의 단절, 독립의 좌절이 나타났다. 넷째, 재결합 단계에서는 첫 번째 우발적 재결합 시도의 실패, 재결합에 대한 기대와 두려움, 새로운 관계 형성 시도, 부부체계의 재결합, 자녀체계의 재결합 과정이 나타났다.

Abstract

Objectives: This study explored the processes of divorce and reunion of a couple based on their family life cycle. Methods: This research used the thematic analysis method to analyze implicit and explicit ideas from the counseling transcript and counseling log. We employed the thematic analysis to display the analysis results. Results: The study findings are as follows. First, in the marriage stage, the client couple had an unstable marital relationship, marital discord, children’s maladjustment, family conflict, and aggravation and explosion of family conflict. Second, in the divorce stage, the client couple underwent separation without consent and family dissolution through divorce suit. Third, the post-divorce family stage was characterized by struggles for independence, children’s cutting off their parents due to increased anxiety, parents’ confusion caused by failure to achieve independence, and loneliness and regrets about the lost family. Fourth, the reunion stage included the failure of the initial, impulsive attempt to reunite, the conflict between the fear of failure to reunite and the desire to restore family, insight into conflicts in the previous marriage and changes, and planning for a new life, and the reunion of the couple and the family.
