Abstract

As a woman writer, Park kyung-ri has mainly built narratives focused on female character, and materialized process of the cognition as a subject. Pyoryudo describes the problem how a female character overcomes the scars of war. For this, she arranges structure of contrast 'life' with 'affection', and shows female character's deep, secret desire. The structure of contrast 'life' with 'affection' is effective for how enforced order of 'life' contends with desire of 'affection', and conflicted female character. She criticizes the character's cognition of dichotomy stems from the war, and shows efforts to overcome this cognition of dichotomy and to proceed to the dialectic. Through this process, Park gyung-ri presents an alternative to heal the scars of war.
