본 논문은 무역관련지수를 이용하여 한일간 자동차 수출입의 추이를 검토하고, 무역결합도지수, 현시비교우위지수, 무역특화지수와 같은 분석지수를 활용하여 2000년, 2005년, 2011년 시계열 분석통계 자료를 바탕으로 비교우위를 분석하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 경제적인 측면에서 한일양국은 상호보완적인 요인을 가지고 있다. 즉, 일본은 자본과 최첨단의 과학기술을 공급할 수 있으며 반면에 한국은 개발경험과 선진기술을 공급할 수 있다. 이러한 영향 덕분에 상호간에 경제내부의 잠재적인 보완관계는 무한하며 더 나아가 다른 어떠한 지역경제통합체와 비교하더라도 이것으로부터 오는 이익은 또한 충분히 보장되어진다. 우리의 경제관점에서 본다면, 동북아 경제협력은 나날이 증대되는 산업간 경쟁의 환경 아래에서 일본과 파트너로서의 산업 기술적 협력을 위한 기회를 제공할 것이다. 중요한 긍정적인 효과를 가져다 줄 것으로 예상되는 수출시장의 확대와 다변화뿐만 아니라 안정적인 자원 공급자를 확보하는 것이다. 이러한 관점에서 이 연구의 목적은 한일 경제 협력을 강화하기 위한 양국간의 무역구조를 이해하며, 무역의 문제점을 조사하고 무역에 영향을 미치는 원인을 분석하고 그 개선 방향으로 무역 증대의 방법을 찾는 것이다.
Abstract
This paper review change of automobile export-import structure between Korea and Japan by use of trade related index and focuses on analyzing comparative advantage based on time-series analysis statistics data(2000. 2005, 2011) by using analysis index of trade intensity index(TII), revealed comparative advantage index(RCA), trade specialization index(TSI). Per economic phase, both Korea-Japan have mutually complementary character. Namely, because Japan is in a position to supply capital and up-to-date scientific technology in other hand, Korea can supply development experience and advanced technology. According to this effects, mutually, intra-economy’s potential complementation is immense and furthermore, expected profits from here is also sufficiently guaranteed compared to that of any area of regional economic integrated community. From our economic viewpoint, Northeast economic cooperations can provide opportunity for industry technological cooperations with partner Japan under the circumstance of accelerating competitions among industries day by day and secure stable resource supplier as well as enlargement of export market and diversification which is expected to bring significant positive effects. Based on this point of view, the purpose of this research understand both 2 country’s trade structure to strengthen Korea-Japan economic cooperations and examine trade drawback to analyze causes which affect trade and by its improvement direction, find out way of trade expansion.
