상위인지전략을 활용한 인문고전 읽기: 아리스토텔레스의 『니코마코스윤리학 –1편』자료와 더불어

상위인지전략을 활용한 지식자본의 습득은 인간의 여러 가지 의사소통 능력 가운데 매우 중요한 위치를 차지한다. 텍스트와 관련하여 독자의 능동적인 의미구성력을 강조하는 ‘독자 중심적 읽기’가 진행되는 상황이라면, 상위인지를 이용한 읽기 전략에 가장 근접한 영역이라 할 수 있다. 특히 지식자본 습득이라는 학습과정에 있어서 인지는 효과적인 정보처리 혹은 저장이나 인출을 돕는 역할을 하는데 구체적으로 정교화, 조직화, 통제화 등의 전략을 사용하며 상위인지는 이러한 인지 능력에 대한 계획화, 조절화, 점검 및 평가의 전략을 도모하게 된다. 대학생의 인문고전 읽기이라는 낯선 영역에서 상위인지전략은 배경지식의 사용, 추론과 예측 그리고 요약 등에 충분히 활용될 수 있었다. 더불어 상위인지전략을 이용한 인문고전 읽기는 정신적 과제수행에 수반되는 지적 의식과 자기 통제를 증진시키는 노력 속에서 그 성과를 확인할 수 있으며, 특히 고전텍스트에 대한 심미적 교류와 성찰적 결과물을 기대할 수 있음을 기대한다.
Abstract
The obtainment of knowledge capital based on metacognitive strategies plays an essential role among many other communication abilities of humans. In particular, if a reader related to the text proceeds with “reader-centered reading” emphasizing positive organization power of significance, it is considered the closest field to strategy for reading based on metacognitive strategies. In the learning process of knowledge capital obtainment, cognition plays a role in performing effective information processing or helping storage and extraction, to be concrete, it uses strategies such as elaboration, organization and regulation. At this moment, metacognition promotes strategies for planning, adjustment, inspection and evaluation regarding these cognitive abilities. In this unfamiliar field of “humanity classics reading”, metacognitive strategies can be fully applied to the domain of utilization of background knowledge, deduction, prediction and summary. As for humanity classics reading of university students based on metacognitive strategies, its fruits and success can be verified in the intellectual awareness accompanied by mental task execution as well as the efforts of improving self-control, in particular, it is expected to create aesthetic exchange and reflective outcome with respect to classical text.Please compose an English abstract.
