중국 웹소설 ‘三生三世’ 시리즈에 나타난 還生과 轉世 연구

Abstract

Buddhism’s Reincarnation ideology is a very important religious ideology, and at the same time, it has given people a strong perception of “rebirth” to those who cannot escape the bondage of human life and death. Contents related to reincarnation and similar reincarnation have also been used as subjects that lead important narratives in many literary works by fusion with Taoism beyond the scope of Buddhist scriptures, which can also be confirmed through modern Chinese web novels. This paper aims to examine the aspects and characteristics of reincarnation and charter in Chinese web novels through The ‘Three worlds and Three Lives(三生三世)’ series, To the Sky Kingdom(三生三世十里桃花), The pillow Book(三生三世枕上書), The Step Lotus(三生三世步生蓮) which is created in dramas, cartoons, etc. by Tangqi(唐七) who have gained sensational popularity in China. The ‘The Three Lives and Three Worlds’ series depicts the protagonists’ love over the three lives through the intersection of time and movement of space, but this article focused on the reincarnation and charter contained in each work. It also considered the characteristics of reincarnation and charter expressed in religious aspects or writer’s imagination.
