측정된 심전도 신호를 기반으로 HRV(Heart Rate Variability) 분석을 통해 교감 및 부교감 신경계의 활성도를 평가하였고 HRP(Heart Rhythm Pattern) 분석을 기반으로 감성상태를 정량적으로 평가하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the viewing of valley, forest road, and city affected by emotional state based on ANS(Autonomic Nervous System). Ten volunteers(6 females, age: 24±2.9) participated in this research, and Blood pressure, ECG(Electrocardiogram) were measured during the viewing of natural landscape and city. In order to assess a mental state, POMS(Profile of Mood States) and SD(Semantic Differential Method) were used. Activity of sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system was evaluated using by HRV(Heart Rate Variability), and emotional state was assessed based on HRP(Heart Rhythm Pattern). In this result, the autonomic balance and blood pressure were a stable state in the viewing of natural landscape(valley & forest road) rather than the city. The emotional state was brought positive-relaxation domain in valley and forest road rather than city. In the result of comparison between valley and forest road, the valley impacted greatly on stable state. This result is meaningful in view of data accumulation, for forest healing. And the possibility for forest healing is confirmed that it is available not only physical care but also mental care with quantitative evaluation of emotional state. Also, emotion service is expected to provide forest healing industry with emotional quantification of various forest factors.
