본 연구는 계단식 논 경관의 보전가치 평가를 통해 향후 계단식 논 경관의 보전의 필요성과 가치를 유지하기 위한 경제적지원의 객관적인 지표를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 환경자원의 경제적 가치평가방법 중 가장 널리 적용되는 가상가치평가법(CVM)을 적용한다. 그 중 이선선택형 가상가치평가법인 Turnbull 분포무관모형을 이용하여 남해 가천마을 계단식 논의 경관보전의 경제적 가치를 평가하였다. 평가결과, 보전가치는 9,516원으로, 연간 총 보전가치는 233억원으로 평가되었다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to suggest some objective indicator of economic support for maintaining the value and necessity of rice terraces conservation through conservative valuation of rice terraces landscape. This study using contingent valuation method (CVM) which has been knows as one of the methods in the field of environmental economics. In this case, a distribution-free approach, Turnbull empirical distribution model, is employed to analysis the economic value of landscape conservation of rice terraces in Gacheon village, Namhae. The result is shown that conservation value is 9,516 won and this can be converted into 233 billion won per one year.
