산림치유 프로그램 개선방안 도출을 위한 치유의 숲 이용객 특성 분석

향기, 경관 등 자연의 다양한 요소를 활용하여 인체의 면역력을 높이고 건강을 증진시키는 활동을 ‘산림치유’라고 정의하고, 시행할 수 있는 산림과 토지를 ‘치유의 숲’이라 한다. 치유의 숲은 현재 전국 7개소가 운영 중에 있으며, 조성 예정중인 시설을 포함하면 총 41개소이다. 산림을 활용한 건강 증진 활동에 대한 국민적관심과 인식이 증가하면서 산림치유의 수요와 공급이 지속적으로 증가하였다. 이와 같은 사회적 변화는 각 치유의 숲의 지역적·자원적 특성을 반영한 차별화된 서비스와 산림치유 대상의 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 프로그램에대한 요구와 산림치유 프로그램 개발 필요성으로 대두되었다. 치유의 숲에서 제공되고 있는 산림치유 프로그램이 국민적 요구를 반영하여 개선하기 위해서는 치유의 숲을 방문하여 프로그램에 참여한 이용객을 대상으로 그특성을 분석하고 이를 통한 산림치유 프로그램 개선 대안 마련이 시급하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현재 운영 중인국립 치유의 숲(산음, 청태산, 장성) 3곳에서 산림치유 프로그램 이용객 3,000여명을 대상으로 일반사회학적 요인, 이용특성, 만족도 등 18문항에 대한 1:1 면담조사를 실시한 이후, 2,169명의 자료를 분석하여 산림치유 프로그램 개선방안을 도출하였다. 도출된 산림치유 프로그램 개선방안은 1) 주요연령대 프로그램 개선, 2) 프로그램진행시간 최소 2시간으로 구성, 3) 질환에 따른 프로그램의 구성 필요이다.
Abstract
Activities of using various environmental factors of forest to improve a person’s physical, psychological and social health are defined as ‘Forest Therapy’. Suitable places made to conduct such activities are named as ‘Healing Forest’. There are seven healing forests nationwide and the number is expected to be 41, when including places to be opened soon. As the awareness and interests on forest therapy increase, relative supplies and utilization has been also hiked up. In line with this, the demand for customized programs by different customers and facilitities has been also created. For improvement of forest therapy, the study analyzed characteristics of visitors to healing forest to make suggestions. For this, a servey was conducted for 3,000 visitors who experienced the programs at public healing forest in 2015 and collected data by conducting one?on-one interviews with 20 questions including visitor’s general social factors, characteristics of usage and satisfaction. From this research, we can deduce an implication to improve the current program. 1) Improvement on subject who visit most not satisfied least should be performed. 2) the duration of the program should be at least 2 hours as the satisfaction was the highest among 2-hour program. 3)the program should be differentiated whether the visitor have any medical symptom or not.
