도시 내 경제활동의 입지변화는 경제공간의 지역분화를 유발하며 도시구조를 다원화시킨다. 본고에서는 서울 강남지역을 대상으로 생산자서비스의 입지변화와 성장특성을 고찰하였고, 강남지역 경제공간의 재편성을 분석하였다. 강남지역에서는 역삼1동이 생산자서비스 입지의 중심지로 등장함으로써 종주성을 강화시켜가고 있는 반면, 주거지역으로서의 성격이 강한 곳은 점진적으로 주변지역화 해가고 있다. 생산자서비스의 입지 변화에 따른 강남지역의 경제공간 변화에 내재하고 있는 요인은 5개가 도출되었으며, 고차 생산자서비스의 성장이 가장 큰 설명력을 가지는 요인으로 판명되었다. 경제공간의 재편성에 대한 분석에서는 생산자서비스의 사업체와 종사자의 규모가 가장 큰 역삼1동이 핵심지역으로 성장하고 그 주변에 자리한 지역이 주변지역으로 고착화되어 가는 양상을 보임에 따라 강남지역의 경제공간은 핵심부와 주변부로 차별화되는 점진적인 공간 재편성을 경험하고 있다.
Abstract
Producer services have immensely influenced on the changes of industrial structure in Seoul. The locational changes of economic activities induce regional differentiation of economic space and create multi-plural urban structure. This paper analysised locational changes and growing characteristics of producer services in Gangnam area. From this research, it was possible to infer the fact that the locational changes of producer services influence on the changes of urban form through the spatial division of economic space. In relation to this, this paper examined the factors affecting to the changes of economic space in Gangnam. This phenomenon has resulted in the spatial fragmentation of Gangnam, affecting an increase of producer services in the core area and a decline or stagnation in the peripheral area. The most important factor for the changes of economic space was the growth of high order producer services. This research thus clearly shows the role of producer services in the change of urban form; an increasing of producer services in Yeoksam1-dong made this as an emerging major business center affecting the spatial division of economic space inside Gangnam.
