MICE산업의 중심지로 떠오르는 대전지역 MICE산업의 경제적 파급효과를 분석하여, 대전지역의 MICE산업의 위상과 중요성을 확인하고자 하였다. MICE산업의 경제적 파급효과 분석에 관한 선행연구들은 전시회산업과 관련된 경제적 파급효과만을 분석하였으나, 본 연구에서는 MICE산업 전체를 분석하였다. 본 연구는 먼저, 산업연관분석 사용계수를 도출한다. 다음으로 대전지역의 MICE 분야별 지출내역과 비용을 공급측면과 수요측면에서 산출한다. 마지막으로 MICE 산업별 경제적 파급효과를 분석하고, 예측하였다. MICE산업의 대전지역 경제적 파급효과 예측결과는 2020년 244,205,696,060원이며, 2025년은 269,622,821,051원이고, 2030년에는 297,685,380,827로 분석되었다. 고용유발효과는 2020년 772면, 2025년은 878명으로, 2030년에는 998명으로 예측된다.
Abstract
We analyzed the economic ripple effect of the MICE industry in Daejeon area, which is emerging as the center of MICE industry, and confirmed the status and importance of MICE industry in Daejeon area. Previous studies on the economic ripple effect analysis of the MICE industry analyzed only the economic ripple effects related to the exhibition industry, but in this study, the entire MICE industry was analyzed. This study first derives the coefficient of industry association analysis. Next, the expenditure breakdown and costs of MICE in Daejeon are calculated from supply side and demand side. Finally, we analyzed the economic ripple effects and forecasts by MICE. The economic impact of the MICE in the Daejeon region is estimated to be 244,205,696,060 won in 2020, 269,622,821,051 won in 2025, and 297,685,380,827 won in 2030. The employment inducement effect is estimated to be 772 in 2020, 878 in 2025, and 998 in 2030.
