담화표지화의 정도성에 대한 한 논의 - ‘뭐, 어디, 왜’를 대상으로 -

The Development as discourse markers is one of grammatical- izations. But developing as discourse markers has differences in levels of formal fixation and retaining it's original meaning. In this paper, we examined that there are differences in degrees of grammaticalization in interrogatives which seems to have similar courses of grammatical- ization, by focusing on Korean interrogatives ‘mueo(뭐), eodi(어디), wae(왜)’. As a result, in the degrees of the development of Korean interrogatives as discourse marker, ‘mueo(뭐)’ was the most advanced one, and the following one was ‘eodi(어디)’. The least advanced one between these three to develop as a discourse marker was ‘wae(왜)’. So, we should realize that some of the discourse markers has differences in degrees of grammaticalization and their peculiarities, and also inquire about the peculiarities and furthermore establish the identity of the discourse marker.
