외국인을 위한 한국어문법1에 대한 몇 가지 문제문법과의 비교를 중심으로

Abstract

School grammar for native speakers and Korean grammar for foreigners should be different from each other for their having distinct teaching objectives. Korean grammar for foreigners should focus on the differences in the similar expressions, for, unlike native speakers, foreigners have no intuitive language competence. Grammar information depicted in Korean Grammar I is not well balanced. It gave too much space on connective ending part, while too little on auxiliary verb or word-formation parts. It has no information on case marker except subject particle. There needs more depiction on the meaning part, and grammartical system test needs be included. We can even find some wrong depictions on grammar information. It also lacks information on adverbial clauses. Passive causative voice needs a supplementary explanation by using “magnifying glass”. Negation information needs to have more concern on the learners’ viewpoints. If these points be included, Korean Grammar I would provide more valuable information on the Korean language to the foreign learners.
