초록
연구자는 ADHD(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder : 주의력 결핍 과잉행동 장애) 영재 학생을 지도하는 초등학교 담임교사의 경험을 탐구하고자 하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to conduct a research on the difficulties experienced by a teacher in charge of a gifted student with ADHD by using autoethnography method. The results of this study are summarized as follows:First, the teacher in charge of the gifted student with ADHD could not give classes effectively and smoothly because the student causes a lot of trouble in class. Because teachers who were in charge of the gifted student with ADHD did not have expert knowledge about gifted students with ADHD, the student could not take appropriate and early interventions. This has caused a lot of conflicts between teachers and the student. Words and behaviors of the gifted student with ADHD hurt their classmates’ feelings. So, the teacher had to take care of the students’ mind more carefully to prevent school violence. Second, the teacher should reflect on himself and agonize over the gifted student with ADHD for intervention. The interventions for the gifted student with ADHD were conducted by the teacher. The teacher found that the interventions for the gifted student with ADHD were effective. The result of the intervention showed that the gifted student with ADHD could improve on regulating his speech and action a little more.
