Abstract
In his own way W. B. Yeats has made every effort to solve the problems of internal struggles toward self-perfection. Facing his own conflicts and struggles he is divided and struggles to unify them. He is a many-sided person: a nationalist, poet, playwright, mystic, and politician. It will help to understand his work better if we could understand these aspects of his. This paper aims at studying ‘the double perspective’ of his. It will analyze the uses of “but” and “half” in his poems.
