초록

Today we have been fighting hard against coronavirus 19 at the risk of our lives. Is it the sign of nature’s or Creator’s anger? Even in the age of science, we don’t know what the cause of it is and how it will end. All we can do is only to scream, cry, and die in distress. Even though we have pursued alchemy, occult, God for over 2000 years, we have no idea of what this is all about, except that we have just discovered only a few chemical ingredients of nature for more comfortable survival and boring semi-immortality. Now the zeitgeist of the Age of Enlightenment, Humanism, has since been replaced by Post-Humanism for over 600 years. Aren’t we mapping out each daily routine by touching such digital devices as the tablet, lap-top, desk-top, or smart phone in the morning? By comparing some films, such as A Cure for Wellness, The Terminator, and The Matrix with the visions of Yeats’s, we fear that humans are destined to extinction by machinery, the fruits of thought: the very machinery they have created in pursuit of maximum comfort and convenience.
