본 연구의 목적은 미술치료 사례개념화 구성 요소를 목록화하고, 임상 현장에서의 사례개념화 적용 가능성을 확인하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 미술치료, 사례개념화를 검색어로 문헌조사를 실시하고, 예비 분류 및 본 분류, 델파이 조사를 거쳐 6개의 상위 유목(기본정보, 주호소 문제 및 관련 요인, 내담자 특성 및 배경, 초기 평가, 목표 및 전략, 진행과정 평가)과 28개의 하위 요소로 구성된 미술치료 사례개념화 구성 요소 목록을 마련하였다. 미술치료 사례개념화는 미술작업 과정에서 나타나는 비언어적 반응과 삼자구도의 상호작용을 구조화하여 상담 사례개념화와는 구분되는 미술치료만의 특수성을 지닌다는 차별점을 확인하였다. 이후 현장 미술치료사를 통한 사례개념화 모의 작성 시행 후 전문가의 내용 평정을 통해, 도출된 구성 요소가 사례의 구조화 및 개입 전략 설정에 실용적이고 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 내용을 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a structured list of case conceptualization components specific to art therapy and examine the applicability of these components in clinical practice. A comprehensive literature review was conducted using the keywords “art therapy” and “case conceptualization,” followed by preliminary and main categorizations, and a Delphi survey. As a result, the study developed a list comprising 6 major categories (Basic Information, Presenting Issues and Related Factors, Client Characteristics and Background, Initial Assessment, Goals and Strategies, and Process Evaluation) and 28 sub-components. The art therapy case conceptualization was found to possess distinctive characteristics that differentiate it from counseling-based case conceptualization, particularly through the structured integration of nonverbal responses observed during art-making and the triadic interactions between client, artwork, and therapist. Subsequently, a simulated case conceptualization exercise was conducted with practicing art therapists, and content evaluations by experts confirmed that the proposed components are practical and effective in structuring cases and formulating intervention strategies. Based on these results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
