A New High-Quality and Yellow Color Rose Cultivar “Kummac”

Abstract
A new yelow colored standard rose(Rosa hybrida Hort.) cultivar Kummac was developed from the cross betweenElaine and Feeling by the Floricultural Experiment Station of Gyeongnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services (ARES)in 1999, and its characteristics were examined three times from 1999 to 2002. Kumac has a yelow group color (RHS. No. 12-A), sweet fragrance, and large flower with good harmony between ray floret and flower center. Vase life of cut flower was 10 days.
