한국 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 성공요소에 관한 사례연구 -농촌체험 관광마을을 중심으로

본 연구는 우리나라 여러 지역에서 실시되고 있는 농촌체험관광 사업을 커뮤니티 비즈니스로 규정하였고, 여러 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 발전모델을 비교 검토한 후 한국 상황에 맞는 모델로 SLEN 모델을 선택하여 2개 지역의 관광마을 사례를 분석하였다. 또한 마을의 사업당사자들과의 인터뷰를 통해 한국 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 성공요소와 지속가능한 체험관광 커뮤니티 비즈니스 모델을 도출하였다. 사례분석 결과 한국 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 성공요소로는 마을주민의 참여, 차별화된 체험프로그램, 컴퓨터 활용, 주민들의 평생학습, 외부 네트워크 활용이었으며, 재무적 자본인 자금은 한국관광 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 승패를 좌우하는 중요한 요소가 아님을 발견했다. SLEN 분석 결과와 사업관련자들과의 인터뷰를 통해 도출된 성공요소를 발전시켜‘지속가능한 체험관광 커뮤니티 비즈니스(SETCB)’모델을 구성하였다. 이 모델의 주요 요소로 1) 투자에는 인적 자본, 재무적 자본, 사회적 자본, 장소 자본, 2) 프로세스로는 커뮤니티 핵심역량인 팀워크, 창의성, 컴퓨터 활용능력, 네트워킹, 3) 지속가능한 결과로는 투자수익, 지역발전, 가계수입이 있다.
Abstract
This research examines the rural experience tourism activities that are being operated in many parts of Korea as a community business. It reports a comparative examination of various community business development models and selects SLEN model as the most relevant for the business in Korea. Based on this, the study analyzes two rural experience tourism villages and interviews of tour operators concerned of which establishes that the success of the business relies on active participation from the local community, differentiation of experience program, use of computers, lifelong education of local operators and utilization of external networks and points out that the capital is not a critical factor that influences the overall success of the business. In addition to the success factors, the research has formed the Sustainable Experience Tourism Community Business Model which constitutes of three stages as followings; 1) Investment namely human capital, financial capital, social capital and place capital, 2) Process of teamwork, creativity, efficient use of computer and networking and 3) Sustainable outcomes such as investment profits, development of the local community and higher household income.
