본 연구는 언어구사능력의 한계 및 거리접근성의 제약으로 활동영역과 관계형성이 제한적이게 되는 농촌 결혼이주여성들에게 있어서 사회참여활동 유형별 경험여부나 태도 등이 그들의 생활만족에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 실시하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회참여활동 유형별 경험여부에 따른 향후 농업․지역사회․취업활동 태도 정도는 한국에서 농업활동, 지역사회활동, 취업활동에 참여한 경험이 있는 집단이 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 p=.01 또는 p=.05수준으로 세 가지 활동유형 모두에서 보다 적극적인 참여태도를 보였다. 둘째, 위계적인 회귀분석에 의하면 농촌결혼이주여성들의 농촌생활만족도에는 생활수준(β=.30), 향후 농업활동참여태도(β=.19), 향후 지역사회활동참여태도(β=.15), 자아존중감(β=.14)이 통계적으로 유의하게 작용하였다. 그러나 한국어능력 수준이나 취업활동참여태도 관련변인은 무의미하게 작용하였다. 결론적으로 농촌지역 결혼이주여성들의 생활만족과 지역사회관계망을 향상하기 위해 취업활동 보다 농업활동과 지역사회활동에 역점을 두며 이들 활동을 지원하여 농업기반을 확충하는 방안 등이 개발되어야 한다고 본다.
Abstract
Married immigrant women are restricted to activity area and relation network because they have a boundary in verbal communications and accessibility toward the local community service in a Korean rural area. Social participation activity is known to conduct an important role in promoting adjustment and life satisfaction of immigrant. This study aimed at investing the aspects of the participation in agriculture, local community and job activity by married immigrant women in a Korean rural area and identifying the effect of participation attitude in each social activity type on theirs life satisfaction Frist, the level of active attitude in the agriculture․local community․job activity depending upon whether participation experience in each social activity was existed or not was significantly high in the group experienced the activities. Second, the hierarchical regression analysis showed the living standard(β=.30), an attitude level of agriculture activity participation(β=.19), an attitude level of local community activity participation(β=.15), self-esteem(β=.14) affected significantly the life satisfaction of married immigrant women in the rural. But an attitude level of job activity participation, and level of the Korean language ability of the women affected it insignificantly. In conclusion, we should be focused to develop the plans supporting agriculture and local community activity rather than job activity to enhance the agricultural foundation and the social-psychological relation net of the women in rural areas.
