농촌지역 다문화가족 부부의 문화적응에 미치는 가족요인의 영향

초록

본 연구는 농촌지역에 거주하는 다문화가족 부부의 문화적응에 미치는 가족요인을 분석하여 그들의 문화적응력 향상을 위한 사회복지실천 개입의 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상북도 농촌지역에 거주하는 다문화가족 부부 205명을 대상으로 조사․분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 농촌지역에 거주하는 다문화가족 부부의 문화적응정도의 차이를 검증한 결과 남편의 경우는 직업과 경제적 수준에 따라, 부인은 연령, 학력, 가정경제, 직업유무, 출신국가에 따라 집단 간의 문화적응정도에 유의미한 통계적 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 농촌지역에 거주하는 다문화가족 부부를 대상으로 가족요인이 문화적응에 미치는 영향력을 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 남편의 문화적응에는 의사소통이 정적인 영향을 미쳤고, 부인의 문화적응에는 가족 결속력이 정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 가족 의사소통과 결속력은 농촌지역 다문화가족 부부의 문화적응력의 향상에 효과가 있다는 함의를 발견할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 이를 기초로 그들의 문화적응력 향상을 위한 사회복지실천 개입 방안을 제언하였다.

Abstract

This study was aimed to provide the basis to social welfare practice for improving the cultural adaptation of couples in the multi-cultural families living in rural areas. The study subjects were 205 individuals living in the Gyeongsangbuk-do. Firstly, there was no gender difference in the cultural adaptation of couples in the multi-cultural family. In contrast, age, occupation, economic status, and nationality affected the cultural adaptation. Secondly, to validate the effects of these familial factors on the cultural adaptation of couples in the multi-cultural family, regression analysis was done. The results demonstrated that communication affected men's adaptation and social cohesion affected women's adaptation. Therefore, familial factors are likely to improve the cultural adaptation of couples. Based on these results, we propose an interventional approach for social welfare practice.
