여자대학생의 성역할 고정관념과 성역할 정체감이 진로포부에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 성역할 고정관념과 성역할 정체감이 여자 대학생의 진로포부에 미치는 영향에 대하여 파악하고자 하였다. 서울 및 수도권에 소재한 4개의 대학교에 재학 중인 여대생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하였고, 총 240개의 사례를 분석에 사용하였다. 빈도분석 및 기술통계, 상관분석, 중앙치분리법, 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 성역할 고정관념이 높을수록 여대생의 진로포부는 낮아졌다. 또한 남성성, 여성성, 미분화 정체감은 양성성 정체감보다 더 낮은 수준의 성취포부, 리더십포부, 교육포부를 보일 것이라 예상했으나, 예상과 달리 미분화 정체감만이 성취포부, 리더십포부, 교육포부 모두에서 양성성 정체감과 차이를 보였다. 위와 같은 연구결과에 기초하여 본 연구는 연구의 함의, 한계점 그리고 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effect of gender role stereotypes and gender role identity on career aspirations of female university students. The self-reported questionnaire consisted of standardized measures and demographic questions. Data were collected from March 2nd of 2018 to March 23rd of 2018 and two hundred and forty cases were included in the final data analysis. This study employed descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, median split procedure, hierarchical multiple-regression. Primary findings are summarized as follows. Gender role stereotypes were negatively associated with all of the sub factors of career aspiration: achievement aspiration, leadership aspiration, and education aspiration. Contrary to expectation, androgyny identity group did not show the highest levels of achievement, leadership, and education aspiration. Implications, limitations and suggestions for future research were discussed.
