성인의 문제음주 발달궤적의 잠재계층 분류와 영향요인

초록

본 연구는 성인의 문제음주 발달궤적에 있어 다른 양상을 띠는 잠재계층을 구분하고 생태체계 이론을 토대로 그 계층을 이루는 구체적인 요인들을 밝혀냄으로써 성인들의 문제음주를 예방할 수 있는 근거자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널7-14차년도의 자료를 활용하여 준모수적 집단중심 방법을 적용한 잠재계층분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 5개 잠재계층이 도출되었으며, 이는 연구기간 내내 큰 변화 없이 적정 음주를 유지하는 비문제음주 집단(53.6%), 저수준 문제음주 집단(27.8%), 문제음주 감소 집단(8.5%), 문제음주 증가 집단(8.6%), 고수준 문제음주 집단(1.5%)으로 명명하였다. 다항로짓분석 결과, 인구사회학적 요인에서는 성별이, 개인적 요인에서는 자아존중감이, 가족 요인에서는 가족관계만족도가 모든 잠재계층을 분류하는데 공통적으로 영향을 미치는 예측요인으로 나타났다. 또한 하위 잠재계층별 예측 요인들도 상이하게 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 성인기 문제음주의 예방과 개입을 위한 사회복지적 함의를 제언하였다.

Abstract

This study identified latent classes that have different patterns in the level of problem drinking and examined specific factors that make up the class based on the ecosystem model, thereby presented evidence that can prevent problems drinking among adults. Using Year 7 to Year 14 data from Korea Welfare Panel Survey, a latent class analysis was conducted applying Nagin’s semi-parametric group-based modeling. Five distinct latent groups were identified. It was named the non-problem drinking group (53.6%) that maintains adequate drinking without significant change throughout the study period, low-level problem drinking group (27.8%), problem drinking decreasing group (8.5%), problem drinking increasing group (8.6%) and high level problem drinking group (1.5%). Result from multinominal logit analysis showed that gender in the socio-demographic factors, self-esteem in the personal factor, and family relationship satisfaction in the family factor were predictors that commonly affect the classification of all latent classes. In addition, predictive factors of the latent class were also different. Based on these findings, social welfare implications for the prevention and intervention of problem drinking in adulthood were suggested.
