델파이 기법을 통한 대학생용 세계시민성(Global Citizenship) 측정도구 개발

최근 세계화되고 있는 사회에서 대학이 인격적으로 성숙하고 건강한 시민성을 길러주어야 한다는 필요성에 따라, 세계시민성이 대학생이 갖추어야 할 역량 중 하나로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 대학생용 세계시민성 측정도구를 개발하고 이를 타당화하고자 하였다. 우선 문헌 연구를 통해 세계시민성을 구성하는 요소를 지식, 기술, 태도, 실천의지의 네 가지로 정의하였으며, 각 요소에 해당하는 총 59개의 문항을 개발하였다. 다음으로 19명의 전문가를 대상으로 2차례에 걸친 델파이 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 최종적으로 지식 13문항, 기술 9문항, 태도 13문항, 실천의지 11문항의 총 46문항으로 구성된 대학생용 세계시민성 측정도구를 도출하였다. 도출된 46개의 문항은 내용타당도 기준을 충족하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 세계시민성 측정도구의 활용 가능성 및 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

Abstract

As an institution of higher education, the university is responsible for cultivating mature and healthy citizens in a globalizing society in recent years. Therefore, global citizenship is becoming one of the competencies that college students should possess. This study aimed to develop and validate a global citizenship indicator for university students. The study first defined four constructs of global citizenship such as knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behavioral intention. Initially, 59 items based on a literature review were developed within four constructs. Then, a two-round Delphi with 19 experts was carried out and the global citizenship indicator for university students was finally been refined to a total of 46 items, including 13 items of knowledge, 9 items of skills, 13 items of attitudes, and 11 items of behavioral intention. The final 46 items met the content validity criteria. This paper proposed future usage of the indicator and suggested directions for future research.
