이 연구는 스포츠 관련 리터러시 연구의 동향을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 KCI에 등재된 167편의논문 중 66편을 선정하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 2008년부터 2024년까지 스포츠 관련 리터러시 연구는 양적 증가와함께 디지털 리터러시, e헬스 리터러시, 피지컬 리터러시 등 다양한 개념적 확장도 나타났으며, 신체활동, 체육교육, 측정도구, 학업, 체육과 등의 키워드가 도출되었다. 또한, 피지컬 리터러시, 신체활동, 헬스 리터러시, 디지털 리터러시, 체육교육 등의 키워드는 중심성(연결, 근접, 매개)에서 상위권에 위치하였으며, 사회적 관계, 학생, 운동, 한국, 타당성 등의 키워드는 상대적으로 낮은 중심성을 지닌 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과는 스포츠 관련 리터러시 연구가현대 스포츠의 다양한 요구를 충족시키며, 학문적 발전과 실천적 적용을 위한 중요한 토대를 제공하고 있음을 시사한다. 향후 연구에서는 스포츠 관련 리터러시의 각 유형에 대한 다차원적 접근을 시도함으로써 체계적이고 포괄적인이론적 토대를 구축할 필요가 있다. 특히, 스포츠 환경에서 리터러시 역량이 미치는 영향을 다양한 맥락에서 분석하여학문적․실무적 의의를 규명해야 할 것이다. 이러한 연구는 스포츠 환경의 변화에 효과적으로 대응하며, 스포츠 관련리터러시가 개인과 사회의 전반적인 발전에 기여할 수 있는 가능성을 확대할 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study aims to explore the research trends in sports-related literacy. For this purpose, 66 papers were selected and analyzed from a total of 167 papers indexed in the Korea Citation Index (KCI). The results revealed that sports-related literacy research has shown both quantitative growth and conceptual expansion from 2008 to 2024, including areas such as digital literacy, eHealth literacy, and physical literacy. Additionally, keywords such as physical activity, physical education, measurement tools, academic performance, and physical education curriculum were identified. Moreover, key terms such as physical literacy, physical activity, health literacy, digital literacy, and physical education demonstrated high centrality (degree, closeness, and betweenness), indicating their significant role in the research network. In contrast, keywords like social relationships, students, exercise, Korea, and validity exhibited relatively low centrality, suggesting their more limited influence within the research context. These findings suggest that sports-related literacy research addresses the diverse demands of modern sports and provides a critical foundation for academic advancement and practical application. This study highlights the importance of further exploration and development of literacy-related concepts to meet the evolving needs of the sports domain. Future research should adopt a multidimensional approach to the various types of sports-related literacy to establish a more systematic and comprehensive theoretical foundation. In particular, it is necessary to conduct in-depth analyses of the impacts of literacy capabilities within diverse sports contexts to elucidate their academic and practical implications. Such research is expected to effectively respond to the evolving dynamics of the sports environment and expand the potential of sports-related literacy to contribute to the overall development of individuals and society.
