Abstract
This study aims to verify the predictors of technology stress multidimensionally (demographic factors, economic factors, health, and psychological factors, and technological factors) for older adults aged 60 years or older. To this end, a survey targeted 509 older adults aged 60 years or older living in the community. Moreover, a hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to verify the predictors of technological stress. As a result, age (+), education level(-), and household income(-) of demographic factors appeared to be predictors of technological stress in the model before technological factors were input. Furthermore, the final model with all factors input showed that only technology efficacy (-) of psychological factors and technology literacy(-) of technological factors were predictors of technology stress. This result has the significance of multidimensionally examining related predictive factors, focusing on the technological stress of older adults, which is increasing after the fourth industrial revolution and COVID-19. It is meaningful in providing basic data for preventing and managing the technological stress of older adults in modern society.
