아동기 외상 척도(CTQ)의 신뢰도 일반화 메타분석

초록

본 연구는 아동기 외상 연구에 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 아동기 외상 척도(Childhood Trauma Questionnaire: CTQ)의 평균 신뢰도 값을 추정하고 연구 전반에서 신뢰도에 영향을 미치는 조절 변인을 탐색하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2009년부터 2023년 11월까지 CTQ의 전체 Cronbach 계수를 제시한 국내 학술지 64편을 분석 대상으로 선정하여 메타분석을 실시했다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 척도의 전체 알파 신뢰도는 무선 효과 모형에서 .89(95% CI: .88∼.90)로 나타났다. 둘째, 메타 ANOVA 분석에서는 출소자를 대상으로 했을 때, 온라인 설문으로 했을 때 신뢰도가 가장 높게 나타났고, 메타 회귀분석에서는 최근에 출간된 연구일수록 신뢰도가 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로, 하위척도 알파 신뢰도는 정서적 방임(.91)이 가장 높게 나타났고, 신체적 방임(.63)이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 하여 CTQ의 활용 방안과 시사점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의했다.

Abstract

This study aimed to estimate the overall reliability of the Childhood Trauma Questionnaire (CTQ) and to identify moderator variables that influence reliability across various studies. To achieve this, a meta-analysis was conducted on 64 domestic journal articles that presented Cronbach’s alpha estimates for the CTQ, covering the period from 2009 to November 2023. The overall Cronbach’s alpha reliability of the scale was .89(95% CI: .88∼.90) in the random-effects model. A meta-ANOVA revealed that reliability was higher when the participants were ex-offenders and when the survey was conducted online. Meta-regression analysis indicated that studies published more recently tended to be more reliable. Lastly, the alpha reliability for the subscales varied, with emotional neglect achieving the highest reliability at .91 and physical neglect the lowest at .63. These findings led to a discussion of the implications for using the CTQ and proposals for future research endeavors.
