고문서 메타데이터 표준화 현황과 과제 - 역사정보통합시스템과 한국국학진흥원의 고문서 메타데이터를 중심으로 -

Abstract

This thesis describes the status and problem related to the Old Documents Metadata Standardization of Korean History On-Line[KHOL]. This paper explores issues of sameness and difference between the structure of the Old Documents Metadata between the Old Books Metadata of the Korean Studies Advancement Center[KSAC] that is refered to Dublin Core is recommended by KHOL. AS the metadata of the KSAC is compared to the Dublin Core or the metadata of the KHOL, it may be understanded what it is the role of the metadata. The metadata of the KSAC is similar to the metadata of The Academy of Korean Studies[AKS] in the list of the metadata. But the Old Documents DTD(Document Type Definition) of the KSAC is different from the Old Documents DTD of the AKS. That is the DTD of the KSAC is unified contrary to the DTD of the AKS is divided into the metadata of a bibliography(or a bibliographical explanation) and the body of a document. The DTD of the KSAC is designed using Normalization of the Dublin Core metadata element. It should be reflected in ERD(Entity Relationship Diagram). Finally, this study examined the differences between the National Digital Library that is designed from the basis of the KORMARC metadata and the KHOL. And I represent the status and problem related to the Recording System of Old Documents
