The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to utilize cultural historical resources of cultural cities. Thus, this study has set up analysis index by splitting the factors that determine the urban space configuration factors into three layers, that is, spatial practices, representation of space, and representational space based on the dialectical process of the production of space proposed by Henri Lefebvre. The methods of analysis a multiple regression analysis is conducted using the SPSS 20.0 statistical program to identify the influence relationship between the value of historical cultural resources and the factors that determine the urban space configuration factors. Different cities have different urban space configuration factors that affect the value of historical cultural resources, which can be explained by dividing them into two different types. This study can be used as a significant guide in analyzing and utilizing the value of historical cultural resources in consideration of urban space configuration factors in developing a cultural hub city in the future.
