Abstract
There have not been many studies on the execution performance of ABC system with multiple domestic companies as samples. The introduction level of a new system would be possible when there are the management environment of the relevant company, fund level, top management team's resources and the possibility of performance of employees. Thus, the system introduction levels of each company would be different and when there are reasonable introduction level on each level, accurate performance evaluation will be possible. This study classified ABC introduction level based on the studies of Gosselin (1997) and Baird et al. (2007) into Stage 3s and examined the impacts of automation level and the strategic linking level of management accounting information on each level. Also, it examined the improvement degree of business performance by activity management practice level at each stage by BSC perspective. As a result of the study, it was found that a high ABC execution stage means very significant difference in activity management level of practice by automation level. in other words, fulfilling a high automation level can be one promotion factor to maximize introduction effects, and There is the difference of activity management level of practice for each ABC introduction level by the strategic linking level of management accounting information system(MAIS). it can be said that as the usage level of ABC increases, the role weight of MAIS further increases the effects of ABC usage. So, the differences on the level of activity management practice can cause the differences of firm performance.
